40% of Scots believe they’re good without god. That’s the official number of people who are non-religious in Scotland.
But the HSS believes that number is wrong.
The UN Special Rapporteur on Faith and Belief estimates the true figure as 66%.
That’s two-thirds of the Scottish population.
This is important, because Government policy in many areas is based on what the Census tells them about religious belief.
We want the government to know what you really believe.
The next census is only a few months away, in March 2011.
Join our campaign, and when the Census comes round, we’ll remind you to put a big tick in the ‘No religion’ box.
Remember – if you’re not religious, for god’s sake say so!
