35,000 seats at Pope’s mass go unfilled

empty seats

The Humanist Society of Scotland said the latest Bellahouston figure reflected indifference to the Pope’s visit. ”People are voting with their feet. The Pope and the UK government are out of step with the way people live their lives. More than 80 per cent of Scots do not approve of the state visit or what the Pope has to say,” says Tim Maguire in The Scotsman

We are so blind ,we don’t see, we call bad -good and we stopped believe in sin , and this is blindness! He loves us anyway and so we are here yet…Wake up people! even if You are good is because of God!!!

The clarity, logic and eloquence of your argument has changed my views entirely Marta, thanks for dropping by.

    • Fr Steven says:

deadmanjones, i’d like to point out the fact that “being good without god” obviously doesnt involve writing sarcastic comments about peoples beliefs. As Catholics, we believe that everyone is truly equal, and i assure you, we dont write senseless comments about peoples beliefs.

    Beliefs

Don’t you sometimes think it odd
That wars are fought in the name of God
    Behind religion armies hide
Claiming God is on their side

But what is even stranger still
The Gods tell us we must not kill
Yet we strive with all our might
To prove that only our Gods right

And of the others there’s no doubt
Our Gods say we should wipe them out
    Each religion beneath the sun
Believes that it’s the only one

To whom mankind should kneel and pray
So to these ends we wound and slay
Since the very dawn of time
In Gods name we commit this crime

    Perhaps if all religions cease
Mankind will at long last find peace
Well here’s my own agnostic view
God and religion NO thank you

Aren’t we all a bit sad on this !
